Starting with electrical installations, he quickly realized BIP offered more than traditional vocational training. The blend of hands-on practice, industry insights, and global certifications gave Kenneth the confidence to dream bigger.   While still a student at BIP, Kenneth began working as a contractor for UMEME, specializing in new electrical connections. Every time he worked on a domestic or industrial setup, he drew on the safety protocols and best practices he learned at BIP. This careful, professional approach set him apart in a field where cutting corners can be tempting, but never wise.  One of the most exciting parts of Kenneth’s journey has been his OPITO training, which opens doors to international standards in the oil and gas sector. Now, he’s lobbying for a contract at the Buliisa oil wells—an opportunity that felt out of reach before BIP broadened his skill set. Thanks to his training, Kenneth can confidently handle a range of tasks, from wiring electrical systems to executing complex welding jobs. This versatility not only makes him more employable but also more resilient in a shifting job market.  Kenneth admits that while the local community hasn’t fully embraced the value of BIP’s approach, he’s grateful every day for the time he spent there. He knows that, because of BIP, he’s no longer limited by old boundaries or outdated qualifications.
