The Earth Resistance Tester is a device used to measure how well the earth can conduct electricity from a system into the ground. In simpler terms: it checks if the grounding of an electrical system is safe and effective.

🔧 How It Works: Student Training Steps

At BIP, students learn to use the Earth Resistance Tester in real conditions:

1. Set Up the Equipment: Students place probes (electrodes) into the ground at specific distances, following safety procedures.
2. Connect the Tester: Wires are connected from the tester to the probes and to the grounding system being tested.
3. Run the Test: With everything in place, the machine sends a small current through the system and measures the resistance.
4. Read & Interpret: Students learn how to interpret the resistance value and decide if the ground system is safe or needs improvement.
