Overview

BIP is an international institute accredited by UK awarding body Pearson BTEC. BIP aims at skilling Ugandans in Electrical Installations, Fluid mechanics-Pipe Fitting, Welding & Fabrication and Construction. Our engineering programmes enable young people to get high-quality industry skills and qualifications they need. Our industrial workshops will ensure that our students are exposed to real life engineering. All programmes are fully packed with extra practical hours ensuring that industry skills are a key factor within the learning experience.

BTEC Engineering Courses

Fees & Requirement

You should have achieved a minimum 60% in the BIP Entrance Assessment Exam or Pre-BTEC Course Assessment Exam. 

 

Level 2 Extended Certificate in Engineering 960$

6 months - 5 days a week 

Monday to Friday/9am – 4pm 

Includes:

  • Course Registration fees 

  • Course materials 

  • BIP Uniform 

  • Boarding option available for an additional 650$ 

 
For the students who completed the certificate we offer to study only for 4 months extra and obtain a Diploma.

 

Top-Up Diploma Engineering Qualification 480$

3 months - 5 days a week Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm 

Includes:

  • Course Registration fees 

  • Course materials 

  • BIP Uniform 

  • Boarding option available for an additional 350$ 

 

Note: Non residents are required to pay lunch meals 60$ monthly

Tuition Fees Scholarship Available 

To be able to get a 100% tuition fees scholarship you will need to pass entry assessments with results for English language minimum 85% and for the Math 90%. 

Scholarship doesn't not include onboarding fees or meals. 

Scholarship covers all the cost for the training including course registration fees, course materials and uniform. 

 

Pre-BTEC Course 150$ 

This course is designed to equip learners with skills and entry requirements for a range of Pearson BTEC in Engineering Qualifications. It also gives the confidence needed for learners to take them to the next level.

Requirements Have achieved minimum 40% in BIP Entrance Assessment Exam. 

4 weeks- 4 days a week Monday to Thursday 9am – 1pm
